The Augusta National Golf Club has officially begun to accept applications for next April’s Masters Tournament. The club held the annual Masters information sessions at AU’s Summerville campus on Wednesday, Sept. 26 in the JSAC Ballroom.

During the event, students had the opportunity to learn about the positions offered, days worked and application steps for this upcoming Masters, which will be played April 11-14. The presentation was led by key members of the Augusta National staff, including Merchandising Operations Manager Mark Wells. All the information provided was very helpful to any of the students who had any questions about what to expect as an employee for the 2019 tournament.

The event ended with Brittany Jones, the human resources coordinator, providing application information for students interested in working at the Masters.

“It’s an amazing opportunity,” said Julie Goley, the director of Career Services at AU. “Augusta National goes to multiple campuses for recruitment, but they come to Augusta University first. It’s very important that Augusta locals have the opportunity to participate.”

The online job site will remain open until Oct. 3. Applicants must be age 16 to apply for any position.

If you are chosen for an interview, you will be notified through email shortly after your application. Interviews will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 22 in the JSAC ballroom.

The link for the application is can be found here.
